If i were to make a volcano out of paper mache and put it into my fish tank, would that be toxic for them? What if I covered it with some sort of glossy varnish?
paper volcano is a bad idea.
You could make one from pieces of slate and gravel, all held together with AQUARIUM SAFE sealent. Just make sure it's cured according to the instrutions(24 hours) and there are no sparp points/edges

My son-in-law gave us a fish tank they no longer needed and we cleaned it out, filled with fresh spring water, added some some freshwater salt, some water conditioner for anti-stress and stress zyme+. We have four x-ray tetras, 2 neon tetras and 4 bright guppies. We bought the scuba man as a bubbler, but he seems to scare the fish so far
Maybe they will get used to him. We put many different plants into this and blue/green gravel. The waterfall is on the left side and the bubble wall is on back right behind the tall plants/greenery. This was very fun and the kids loved it! They were excited. We also have 5 snails in there. We brought a couple tunnel decorations and some colorful coral. So far, the fish seem to be adjusting well! I did have 1 x-ray tetra jump out of the bowl I had them in while we were busy cleaning the tank out and setting it all up. I did not realize that fishy had jumped out and I am afraid by the time I saw him, he was very dry and dead. So, right now we have 10 fish in this tank. I think this is enough for now. The kids wanted to get a dwarf African frog! In time, possibly, but I do not want to overcrowd the fish. They are swimming around and look great! It is peaceful to watch them swim, a relaxing thing to do. This has been another winner family project and the kids have loved it. I’m glad we did this!

What is Brackish water? and what is the diff between brackish water and marine water?
Can Blue Lobsters live with Puffer fish (Diff types of puffers)?
Can anyone recommend any Prehistoric looking fish that would go well with lobsters and that don't grow any bigger than 6 inches?
Brackish water has less salinity than marine water. Brackish water occurs in areas where rivers are flowing into the ocean. Mangrove swamps are an example of a brackish water environment.
Blue lobsters, I belive, are a freshwater creature. They are also not lobsters, but crayfish. Dont quote me on it, though. I would not trust a blue lobster (or any crayfish) with a $10 puffer fish anyway, as the lobster has no idea the puffer is not food for him and will likely think he looks like a good snack…
I'm not sure on the prehistoric fish, but if you go online and look through some sites, you can find some pretty cool fish and request them at your local pet store. Just be ready to pay a little extra.
