What can I feed my guppy when I dont have fish food?
Posted on Sep 07, 2008 under fish food |I havent had fish food for like a week now and wont be able to get any for a couple days. Anything around the house I can give him?
They will be fine without food for a few more days fish can go up to 2 weeks without food with no ill effects.

No just buy a lot of fish food so you dont run out and I went for a month once with out feeding my fish and it lived. (sorry fish)

You could feed them worms from your garden.

Really they shouldn't go that long without food. Toss him green veggies like canned peas, lettuce, spinach or even small bits of fruit.
This should hold him over. You can also feed him corn meal, although this will provide no neutritional value.
