This is an update from my previous video. No change in decor just more oxygen and fish. I also separated my Betta since it killed 2 of my platties.

¡ At last we found them!
Moenkhausia pittieri “diamond tetras” in their natural habitat! For 3 years I tried to film these small Characiformes in their natural habitat with no success for they are partially extinct in their wild form.

My D.I.Y. entry into the world of fishkeeping. Footage taken roughly 1 year after i (with help) built the tank.

My planted tank, this is a Juwel 125 litre tank. Filtration is Eheim 2222 external pump + sponge filtration behind the background. I am adding CO2, homemade with a diffuser. Lighting is an Arcadia T5 controller with 2 38W tubes, daylight and nature. The background is Papillon Amazonas.
Just a video showing my new plant decoration. I will move plants around a bit and prune them once they grow more, I have recently got them from a skilled plant aquarist, and I’ve got pretty good lighting and a basic CO2 kit providing plants with everything they need.
The copper tetras (hasemania nana) are pretty much on fire. The males are trying to knock up the females, so one of them are hiding in the leftmost part as you can see in the video.
The bolivian rams are swimming around happily, eating stuff from the sand when they find something and generally being curious.
My big fascination is obviously South-American fishes, but I do like to vary the plants a bit more than having an exact copy of the fishes home.
Enjoy.

I just thought it might be cool to go over the fish in my freshwater tropical fish tank. The tank is 30 gallons.
Fish:
1 Plecostomus
1 Silver Dollar
1 Black Skirt Tetra
1 Peacock Spiny Eel
3 Comet Goldfish
1 Black Moor Goldfish
Thanks for watching and feel free to ask any questions and/or make suggestions.
If anyone is interested in the plecostomus or the silver dollar (they’re too big for 20gal), I might be willing to sell/trade

A battle for a bite off the Algae wafers ensues every time - my Pleco always chases the other fish away. They cause a lively food fight + need a few in for Plec to eat!
